Hill Planning Consultancy is a small planning consultancy providing a personal approach to the services it offers.
It is based in Bedford and primarily covers Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire, Hertfordshire and north London but advice can be given over a wider geographical area if requested.
It's Director is John Hill a Chartered Town Planner and Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute. He has
in excess of 40 years experience as a professional planner secured through working in local authority planning departments and latterly in a development corporation. His experience has included dealing with all aspects of development management. Consequently he has an extensive understanding of the planning application process and all other planning matters associated with the planning system in the country.
His career has involved working for Hastings Borough Council, Newcastle City Council and Mid Bedfordshire District Council, where he held a number of development control team leader posts and planning enforcement team leader post. His last position in the public sector was Head of Development Management at West Northamptonshire Development Corporation a post held up until the end of March 2012.
After leaving the Development Corporation he set up HPC and is currently advising clients on a variety of development projects.
